Refund policy

RETURN, EXCHANGE, AND CANCELLATION POLICY 

There is a 25% restocking fee for all returned products.

Hand-painted color cards and sample jars are final sale.

All refunds are for products only.  We do not provide a refund for the outgoing shipping label purchased for your order.

All products eligible for return may be returned according to the policy below. 

Returns must be requested within 30 days of product delivery.

To be eligible for a return your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, in saleable condition with the original packaging in place.  

Thrive paints and primers that have had the can clips removed and/or the tamper evident sticker modified from its original condition are not eligible for return, as we cannot ensure that the product has not been contaminated once opened.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Cancellation of Orders:

All orders may be cancelled before fulfillment by emailing: Support@JamesAlexanderPaint.com

All orders that are cancelled after fulfillment will incur a 15% restocking fee.

All orders that have been shipped are not eligible for cancellation, and may be processed using our return policy.
